Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a 3'-exoribonuclease with similarity to the RNase D family of 3'-exonucleases. It preferentially degrades poly(A) tails of mRNAs, initiating mRNA decay in eukaryotic cells.
This protein is also involved in silencing certain maternal mRNAs during oocyte maturation and early embryonic development, as well as in nonsense-mediated decay (NMD) of mRNAs with premature stop codons.
Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
