Store as concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening vial.
For short-term storage (1–2 weeks), store at 4°C.
For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below.

Target Information

Dengue fever and dengue hemorrhagic fever are acute febrile diseases found in tropical regions and Africa.
They are caused by one of four closely related virus serotypes of the genus Flavivirus, family Flaviviridae.
Each serotype is sufficiently distinct that there is no cross-protection, and epidemics caused by multiple serotypes (hyperendemicity) can occur.
Dengue is transmitted to humans by the Aedes aegypti (rarely Aedes albopictus) mosquito, which feeds during the day.
