Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
TROP2 is a carcinoma-associated antigen defined by the monoclonal antibody GA733. This antigen belongs to a family of type I membrane proteins and functions as a cell surface receptor that transduces intracellular calcium signals. Mutations in the TROP2 gene cause gelatinous drop-like corneal dystrophy, an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by severe corneal amyloidosis leading to blindness.
