TNFR1의 세포외 도메인은 순환계로 방출되어 soluble TNFR1(sTNFR1) 형태로 존재합니다. 인간에서 TNFR1 유전자는 염색체 12에 위치하며, BAG4/SODD, TRADD, TRAF2 단백질과 상호작용하여 수용체 매개 신호 전달을 조절합니다. TNFR1의 세포외 도메인에 대한 생식세포 돌연변이는 상염색체 우성 주기열 증후군과 관련이 있으며, 수용체 제거 장애가 질병의 주요 기전으로 알려져 있습니다.
