Target Information
CD34는 분자량 111–115 kDa의 고도로 당화된 단량체 표면 단백질로, 다양한 줄기세포 집단에서 발현됩니다. 인간 조혈줄기세포에서 CD34의 발현은 가역적이며, 세포 부착, 분화, 증식 조절에 관여할 수 있습니다.
CD34는 줄기세포가 골수 기질세포 또는 세포외기질에 부착하도록 매개하는 접착 분자로 작용할 가능성이 있으며, 선택틴(selectin)에 대한 탄수화물 리간드 제시에 관여할 수 있습니다.
또한 CD34 항원의 세포내 사슬은 단백질 키나아제 C에 의해 인산화되는 부위로, 신호전달에 역할을 할 수 있습니다.
CD34 기능 이상은 dermatofibrosarcoma 및 neurofibroma와 관련이 있습니다.
