Target Information
Transcriptional coactivator that specifically associates with either OCT1 or OCT2. It enhances OCT1-mediated promoter activity and, to a lesser extent, OCT2-mediated activity. It has no intrinsic DNA-binding activity but recognizes the POU domains of OCT1 and OCT2. BOB1 is essential for B-cell antigen response and germinal center formation.
