Target Information
FACL6 (ACSL6)은 긴 사슬 지방산의 활성화에 관여하여 세포 내 지질 합성과 β-산화 경로를 조절합니다. 특히 뇌에서 지방산 대사에 중요한 역할을 하며, 적혈구 전구세포(특히 망상적혈구), 태아 간 유래 혈액세포, 제대혈 조혈줄기세포, 골수 및 뇌에서 주로 발현됩니다.
초기 적혈구 발달 단계에서는 발현이 낮지만 망상적혈구에서 매우 높습니다.
이 단백질은 MDS(골수형성이상증후군), AML(급성골수성백혈병), AEL(급성호산구성백혈병)과 관련이 있으며, ETV6 및 ACSL6 유전자가 연관된 염색체 전위 t(5;12)(q31;p13)로 특징지어집니다.
