This antibody has specificity for Mouse IGBF/PRSP.
Target Information
MSMB protein belongs to the immunoglobulin binding factor family. It is synthesized by epithelial cells of the prostate gland and secreted into seminal plasma. This protein exhibits inhibin-like activity and may act as an autocrine or paracrine factor in uterine, breast, and other female reproductive tissues. Expression of this protein is decreased in prostate cancer. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified, and alternate polyadenylation sites are also reported for this gene.
