Target Information
FLIP (CFLAR)은 세포 생존과 사멸 경로 사이의 중요한 연결 고리 역할을 하는 apoptosis 조절 단백질입니다. TNFRSF6 매개 apoptosis의 억제자로 작용하며, proteolytic fragment(p43)는 death-inducing signaling complex(DISC)에 유지되어 caspase-8의 추가 결합과 처리 과정을 차단합니다. FLIP의 다양한 isoform은 apoptosis를 유도하거나 TNFRSF-triggered apoptosis를 감소시킬 수 있으며, 효소적(caspase) 활성은 없습니다.
