Target Information
MACC1 (Metastasis Associated in Colon Cancer 1)는 HGF-HGF receptor (MET) 경로의 핵심 조절 인자로, 세포 성장, 상피-간엽 전이, 혈관신생, 세포 이동성, 침습성 및 전이 과정에 관여합니다.
MACC1 단백질은 ZU5, SH3, 그리고 두 개의 C-terminal death domain (DD)을 포함한 네 개의 도메인으로 구성됩니다.
MACC1 발현은 정상 조직이나 선종에 비해 모든 단계의 대장암 및 간·폐 전이 조직에서 유의하게 증가되어 있으며, 대장암 전이의 조기 예후 지표로 알려져 있습니다.
또한 MET 수용체와의 신호 전달 및 세포자멸사(apoptosis) 연관 경로에 관여하며, 대장암 치료의 잠재적 표적 단백질로 연구되고 있습니다.
MACC1의 최소 두 가지 아이소폼이 존재하는 것으로 보고되어 있습니다.
