Target Information
Histone H3는 모든 진핵세포의 염색질 내 DNA 결합 단백질 중 하나입니다. H3는 다른 핵심 히스톤 단백질과 함께 DNA에 결합하여 뉴클레오솜 구조를 형성합니다. 히스톤은 전사 조절, DNA 복구, 복제 및 염색체 안정성에 중심적인 역할을 합니다. 번역 후 히스톤은 다양한 방식으로 변형되어 크로마틴 구조를 직접 변경하거나 특정 전사 인자의 결합을 가능하게 합니다. Histone H3의 N-말단 꼬리는 뉴클레오솜 핵심에서 돌출되어 있으며, 메틸화, 아세틸화, 인산화 등 다양한 변형을 통해 세포 과정에 영향을 미칩니다.
