Target Information
This gene is found in a cluster with two other members of the gene family, sharing a zinc finger-like DNA-binding motif (DM domain). The DM domain is a conserved component of the vertebrate sex-determining pathway and a key regulator of male development in various species. This gene shows gonad-specific and sexually dimorphic expression patterns. Defective testicular development and XY feminization can occur when this gene is hemizygous.
