Target Information
Secretogranin-5는 PCSK2/PC2의 조기 활성화를 방지하며, 내분비 경로에서 분비 조절에 관여하는 분자 샤페론으로 작용합니다. 비활성 PCSK2와 결합하여 소포체에서 분비 경로의 후속 구획으로 이동을 돕고, 그곳에서 단백질 절단 및 활성화가 이루어집니다. 또한 PCSK2 절단에 필요하지만 접힘 과정에는 관여하지 않습니다. C-말단 펩타이드는 PCSK2를 in vitro에서 억제합니다.
