Target Information
PJA2 exhibits E2-dependent E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase activity. It mediates ubiquitination of cAMP-dependent protein kinase type I and II regulatory subunits, targeting them for proteasomal degradation. Plays an essential role in PKA-mediated long-term memory processes.
