Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882) before use.
Target Information
The CLOCK gene encodes a protein belonging to the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) family of transcription factors.
Polymorphisms in this gene are associated with circadian rhythm sleep disorders.
In mice, a similar protein acts as a circadian regulator and transcription factor, forming a heterodimer with the aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator-like protein to activate transcription of mouse period 1.
