Target Information
BMAL1 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 basic helix-loop-helix 구조를 가지며 CLOCK 단백질과 이합체를 형성합니다. 이 복합체는 PER1 유전자 상류의 E-box에 결합하여 해당 유전자 및 기타 생체 리듬 관련 유전자의 발현을 활성화합니다. 이 유전자는 세 가지 전사 변형체를 가지며, 두 가지 서로 다른 아이소폼을 암호화합니다.
