Target Information
CD18 integrin beta 2 subunit은 모든 백혈구에 발현되는 90 kDa의 type I 막단백질입니다. CD18은 CD11a-c 인테그린 분자와 결합하여 세포 표면에서 이합체를 형성하며, 이는 세포 부착 및 세포 표면 신호전달에 관여합니다. CD18은 네 가지 유형의 CD11 분자와 이합체를 형성하여 백혈구 인테그린(alphaLbeta2, alphaMbeta2, alphaXbeta2, alphaDbeta2)을 구성합니다. 이러한 인테그린은 백혈구 이동과 세포 간 접촉에 필수적입니다. CD18 결핍은 백혈구 부착 결핍증(LAD1)을 유발하며, CD18 발현 감소는 건선 유사 피부 질환을 초래할 수 있습니다. 또한 CD18은 Mannheimia haemolytica leukotoxin의 표적이며, 이 독소에 의한 세포용해를 매개합니다. CD18 유전자의 결함은 백혈구 부착 결핍증 1형(LAD1)의 원인입니다. 두 가지 전사 변이체가 보고되어 있습니다.
