Reconstitute the lyophilized antibody with deionized water (or equivalent) to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.

Interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine central to host resistance to infection. It is mainly produced by natural killer cells and CD4+/CD8+ T cells. Its receptors are found on nearly all cells and activate diverse responses to prevent infection by bacteria, parasites, and viruses.

• Takayanagi et al. (2000): Demonstrated that IFN-gamma suppresses osteoclastogenesis by interfering with the RANKL–RANK signaling pathway.
• Tsubota et al. (1999): Reported that IFN-gamma may regulate upregulation in Sjögren syndrome patients through activation of transcription factor NF-κB.

Target Information

IFN-gamma (Interferon gamma, Type II interferon) is a macrophage activation factor primarily produced by T-lymphocytes and natural killer cells in response to antigens and cytokines. It is a dimeric glycoprotein (~45 kDa) consisting of two 146 amino acid subunits. On SDS-PAGE, it appears as 25, 20, and 15.5 kDa bands due to differential glycosylation.
