AMOT (Angiomotin)은 angiostatin 결합 단백질인 motin family에 속하며, coiled-coil domain과 C-terminal PDZ binding motif를 특징으로 합니다.
AMOT는 ARHGAP17과 복합체를 형성하여 세포 극성 단백질의 tight junction 흡수를 조절함으로써 tight junction 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
AMOT는 주로 모세혈관 및 태반의 큰 혈관 내피세포에서 발현되며, angiostatin이 혈관 형성 및 내피세포 이동을 억제하는 데 관여할 수 있습니다.
