Target Information
Prohibitin은 진화적으로 보존된 유전자에서 유래하며, 광범위하게 발현됩니다. 세포 증식의 음성 조절자로 작용하며 종양 억제 인자로 추정됩니다. PHB 유전자의 돌연변이는 산발적 유방암과 관련이 있으며, 두 가지 길이의 3' UTR을 가진 전사체로 발현됩니다. 긴 전사체는 증식 중인 조직과 세포에서 더 높은 수준으로 존재하며, 이 긴 3' UTR이 전사 조절 RNA로 기능할 수 있음을 시사합니다.
