Antibody detects endogenous levels of total DACH1.
Target Information
Transcription factor involved in regulation of organogenesis. Regulates SIX1, SIX6, and possibly SIX5. Modulates precursor cell proliferation in myoblasts through interaction with SIX1-DACH1 complex and recruitment of EYA3. Acts as corepressor of SIX6 by repressing cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors such as p27Kip1. Inhibits TGF-beta signaling via interaction with SMAD4 and NCOR1. Binds chromatin DNA through its DACHbox-N domain.
