Target Information
항체의 동형(Isotype)과 적용 분야에 따라 비특이적 배경 염색이 발생할 수 있습니다. 이러한 배경 신호는 Fc 수용체 결합, 세포 내 단백질·탄수화물·지질과의 비특이적 상호작용, 또는 세포 자가형광에 의해 유발될 수 있습니다.
Isotype control 항체는 표적 항원에 대한 특이성이 없으므로, 비특이적 신호와 특이적 항체 신호를 구분하는 음성 대조로 활용됩니다.
주로 Flow Cytometry에서 사용되지만, ChIP, Immunohistochemistry, Gel Shift 등 다양한 분석에도 유용합니다.
직접 표지된 1차 항체를 사용하는 경우, 동일한 형광 표지로 결합된 Isotype Control을 사용하는 것이 가장 적합합니다.
