Mouse anti-Bovine CD205 antibody, clone IL-A114 recognizes bovine CD205 (also known as DEC205) and was originally described as BoWC6.
Reconstitute by adding 1 mL distilled water.
Target Information
CD205 (LY25, Lymphocyte Antigen 75) is an integral membrane glycoprotein involved in antigen uptake, trafficking, and presentation, enhancing antigen-specific T cell immunity.
CD205 is highly expressed by CD8+ dendritic cells and variably expressed by bone marrow Gr1+ cells, Langerhans cells, bone marrow-derived dendritic cells (BMDCs), and thymic epithelial cells.
It functions as an endocytic receptor, directing captured antigens to specialized antigen processing regions and modulating B lymphocyte proliferation.
CD205 dysfunction is associated with pneumonic plague and lipid pneumonia.
