Invitrogen™ SARS-CoV-2 Spike Delta (B.1.617.2) ProcartaPlex™ Simplex Kit

The Human SARS-CoV-2 Spike Delta (B.1.617.2) Ig Total ProcartaPlex Simplex Kit measures anti-SARS-CoV-2 Spike antibodies targeted against the SARS-CoV-2 variant Lineage B.1.617.2 in serum and plasma.
This kit can be combined with other Simplex kits from the Coronavirus Panel to create a custom multiplex panel using Luminex xMAP technology for protein detection and quantitation.

When combining multiple Simplex kits (not using a pre-configured Multiplex Panel), only one Viral Reagent Kit (sold separately) is required per assay plate, regardless of plex size.
The detector antibody is an Immunoglobulin (Ig) Total antibody directly conjugated to phycoerythrin (PE) that cross-reacts with IgG, IgM, and IgA in serum and plasma.

기술 개요

ProcartaPlex immunoassays are based on the sandwich ELISA principle, using two highly specific antibodies that bind different epitopes of a target protein to quantitate multiple proteins simultaneously via a Luminex instrument.
Each bead is internally dyed with precise proportions of red and infrared fluorophores, creating spectrally unique signatures detectable by Luminex systems (e.g., Luminex 200, FLEXMAP 3D, MAGPIX).
Matched antibody pairs identify target proteins, and detection is achieved with biotinylated antibodies and streptavidin–R-phycoerythrin (RPE).
Unlike ELISA, capture antibodies are conjugated to beads rather than adsorbed to microplate wells, allowing free-floating reactions and efficient multiplexing.
