For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD7 (gp40, Leu9) is a 40 kDa member of the immunoglobulin gene superfamily.
The N-terminal amino acids (1–107) are highly homologous to Ig kappa-L chains, while the C-terminal region is proline-rich and forms a stalk projecting the Ig domain.
CD7 is expressed on immature and mature T-lymphocytes, T cell leukemia cells, natural killer cells, and a subset of B cells.
Cross-linking of CD7 modulates T cell and NK cell activity, influencing calcium flux, adhesion molecule expression, cytokine secretion, and proliferation.
CD7 directly associates with phosphoinositol 3-kinase, inducing production of D-3 phosphoinositides and tyrosine phosphorylation.
Expression of CD7 serves as an important marker in leukemia diagnostics.
