Target Information
TIM3 (Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2, HAVCR2, T-cell immunoglobulin, mucin-domain containing-3)은 281개의 아미노산으로 구성된 Type-1 Th1 특이적 세포 표면 당단백질입니다.
CD4+ Th1 및 CD8+ Tc1 세포의 말기 분화 단계에서 발현되며, IgV-like domain, mucin-like domain, Tyrosine phosphorylation motif를 포함합니다.
TIM3는 대식세포 활성화 및 자가면역 질환 유도에 관여하며, Th1 매개 면역 반응을 억제하고 면역 관용 발달을 촉진합니다.
병리학적으로는 Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis (EAE) 등 Th1 의존성 자가면역 질환과 관련되어 있으며, EAE의 중증도를 증가시키는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
