Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Isocitrate dehydrogenases catalyze the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to 2-oxoglutarate. These enzymes are divided into two subclasses based on their electron acceptors: NAD(+) or NADP(+).
Five isocitrate dehydrogenases have been identified — three NAD(+)-dependent (mitochondrial matrix localized) and two NADP(+)-dependent (one mitochondrial, one cytosolic).
NAD(+)-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenases catalyze the allosterically regulated, rate-limiting step of the tricarboxylic acid cycle.
Each isozyme is a heterotetramer composed of two alpha subunits, one beta subunit, and one gamma subunit.
The IDH3A protein represents the alpha subunit of one NAD(+)-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase isozyme.
