Hexa disc is an enhanced extension of Single Discs. This disc gives the privilege to study 6 different antibiotics on a single plate. Flat circular ring of inert material with 6 equidistant arms on the outer periphery, each arm having a 6mm disc at the end. Each disc is impregnated w/ different antibiotic, with corresponding symbol & concentration printed on the ring for easy identification. The unique inert material used for making the rings allows faster absorption of the rings and hence a uniform diffusion of the antibiotics on to the medium. Hexa G-minus 25 has combination of antibiotics that aid antibiotic susceptibility testing of Gram negative organisms.
