Target Information
RAB30 (Ras-related protein Rab-30) encodes small GTPases that regulate intracellular membrane trafficking, including vesicle formation and fusion. RAB30 cycles between GDP-bound inactive and GTP-bound active forms, recruiting effectors responsible for vesicle movement and fusion. It is essential for maintaining Golgi apparatus integrity, possibly through interactions with cytoplasmic scaffolding proteins.
