Product Specific Information

This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%) to prevent contamination.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal production candidates.

Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:

  • Improved specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulation
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to large rabbit immune repertoire

This antibody shows specificity for Human EphrinA1/EFNA1.

Target Information

The EFNA1 gene encodes a member of the ephrin family, which interacts with EPH receptor tyrosine kinases. These molecules are involved in developmental processes, particularly in the nervous system and erythropoiesis.

Ephrins are divided into:

  • Ephrin-A class: anchored by glycosylphosphatidylinositol linkage
  • Ephrin-B class: transmembrane proteins

EFNA1 binds to EPHA2, EPHA4, EPHA5, EPHA6, and EPHA7 receptors.
Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.

For Research Use Only.
