P73 (TP73)는 DNA 손상에 대한 세포의 아폽토시스 반응에 관여합니다. Transactivation domain을 포함하는 isoform은 pro-apoptotic 기능을, 해당 domain이 결여된 isoform은 anti-apoptotic 기능을 가지며 p53 및 transactivating p73 isoform의 기능을 억제합니다. 종양 억제 단백질로 작용할 수 있습니다.
