This antibody detects endogenous levels of IGF1 Receptor only when phosphorylated at Tyrosine 1165/Tyrosine 1166.
Target Information
IGF1R (Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 Receptor) is a receptor tyrosine kinase activated by IGF-1 and IGF-2. It plays a key role in cell growth and survival signaling and has been implicated in various cancers. The receptor is a tetramer composed of two alpha and two beta subunits. Binding of IGF-1 induces conformational changes and autophosphorylation at Tyr1134, Tyr1135, and Tyr1136, subsequently activating downstream pathways such as RAS, RAF, and MAPK (ERK, p38, JNK), leading to gene transcription and proliferation.
