Target Information
FXYD3 is part of a small family of FXYD-domain-containing regulators of Na⁺/K⁺ ATPases, sharing a 35-amino acid signature domain (PFXYD sequence) with invariant and conserved residues.
This gene encodes a membrane protein involved in ion-pump and ion-channel regulation and may play a role in tumor progression.
Alternative splicing yields multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.
