Target Information
CHD8는 염색질 재구성 인자로 작용하는 DNA 헬리케이스로, 전사 조절에 관여합니다. 염색질 구조를 재편성하고 히스톤 H1을 표적 유전자에 모집하여 전사 억제 인자로 작용합니다. 또한 p53/TP53 매개 세포사멸을 억제하며, Wnt 신호 경로에서 β-catenin(CTNNB1)의 활성을 조절하여 음성 조절자로 기능합니다. CTCF와의 상호작용을 통해 염색질 경계에서의 에피제네틱 재구성 및 enhancer 차단에 관여합니다. 또한 ZNF143과의 상호작용을 통해 U6 RNA polymerase III 전사 활성화에도 참여합니다.
