Target Information
NuMA (nuclear mitotic apparatus) is a long coiled-coil protein that plays a role in both interphase and mitosis phases of the cell cycle. During interphase, it is hypothesized to contribute to nucleoskeletal structure important for nuclear organization and function. During mitosis, it is associated with spindle microtubule organization and chromosome positioning.
