Target Information
Mesothelin은 중피세포에서 발현되는 GPI-anchored 세포 표면 당단백질로, 정상 조직에서는 제한적으로 발현되지만, 중피종, 난소암, 췌장암 등 다양한 암종에서 과발현이 보고되었습니다.
Mesothelin은 proteolytic cleavage를 통해 megakaryocyte potentiating factor (MPF)를 생성하며, 이는 혈소판 생성 조절과 관련된 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
Mesothelin과 MPF는 암세포의 증식, 이동, 부착 독립적 성장 및 전이에 관여하며, 종양세포 간 상호작용을 촉진하는 역할을 합니다.
