Target Information
TAOK1은 serine/threonine-protein kinase로, p38을 포함하는 stress-responsive MAP kinase pathway 및 ERK kinases (MEKs)의 조절에 관여합니다. MEK3와의 결합 및 활성화를 통해 p38 MAPK 신호전달 경로 조절에 중요한 역할을 하며, 세포분열 진행 및 세포골격 안정성 유지에 필수적입니다. 또한 DNA 손상 반응, 세포자멸사 조절, G2/M 전이 checkpoint 활성화에도 관여합니다. TAOK1은 MAP2K3, MAP2K6, MARK2를 인산화하며, G-protein-coupled receptor 신호전달을 통해 p38/MAPK14 경로를 활성화합니다.
