Target Information
이 유전자는 mRNA 감시 복합체의 일부로서 nonsense-mediated mRNA decay(NMD)에 관여하는 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 kinase 활성을 가지며, nonsense transcripts 1 단백질을 인산화하여 NMD 과정에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱 변이체가 보고되었으나, 그 전체 길이는 아직 명확히 규명되지 않았습니다.
