Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
This gene belongs to the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR) family located in the 19q13.4 chromosomal region. The encoded protein is part of the subfamily B class of LIR receptors, which contain two or four extracellular immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane domain, and two to four cytoplasmic immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs). These receptors are expressed on immune cells, where they bind to MHC class I molecules on antigen-presenting cells and inhibit immune response stimulation. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
