MIA1301은 인간 배아줄기세포에서 유래한 내배엽의 AFP 면역형광 분석에 사용될 수 있습니다. Western blot에서 MIA1301은 인간 배아줄기세포로부터 유래한 초기 간세포 유사세포의 내인성 AFP 단백질을 검출합니다.

Target Information
AFP(Alpha Fetoprotein)는 태생기 동안 난황낭, 장관, 간에서 생성되는 주요 혈장 단백질입니다. 성인에서 AFP 발현은 간암이나 기형종과 관련이 있으며, 일부에서는 병리적 증상 없이도 유전적으로 지속되는 경우가 있습니다. AFP는 혈청 알부민의 태아형으로 간주되며, 두 유전자는 염색체 4상에서 동일한 방향으로 나란히 위치합니다. AFP는 단량체, 이량체, 삼량체 형태로 존재하며 구리, 니켈, 지방산, 빌리루빈과 결합할 수 있습니다.
양수 내 AFP 수치는 척추갈림증 및 무뇌증 선별을 위한 지표로 사용되며, 혈청 AFP의 높은 수준은 간세포암(HCC), 기형종, 대장암, 췌장암, 생식세포종양 환자에서 관찰됩니다.
