Target Information
Bcl-w는 생명 유지 기능을 가진 단백질로, PCR 기반 전략을 통해 확인되었습니다. 이 단백질은 마우스와 인간 사이에서 높은 보존성을 가지며, 인간 14번 염색체의 TCRα 유전자 근처에 위치한 유전자로부터 발현됩니다.
Bcl-w는 골수 계통 세포주에서 발현되며, T 및 B 림프구에서는 발현되지 않습니다. 다양한 조직에서 검출되며, 엑손 4의 대체 스플라이싱으로 두 가지 전사체가 생성됩니다.
첫 번째 전사체인 Bcl-w는 193 아미노산 길이의 단백질을 암호화하고, 두 번째 전사체인 Bcl-w/rox는 333 아미노산 길이의 단백질을 암호화합니다. Bcl-w/rox의 rox 부분은 초파리 rox2 단백질과 66%의 아미노산 서열 유사성을 보입니다. 그러나 Bcl-w/rox 전사체는 매우 낮은 수준으로 발현될 수 있습니다.
