Target Information
NALP 단백질은 세포질 내에서 존재하며, CATERPILLER 단백질 패밀리의 하위 그룹을 형성합니다. 이들은 세포 증식과 생식에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
NALP10은 C-말단의 leucine-rich repeat (LRR) 영역, N-말단의 Pyrin domain (PYD), NACHT domain 및 NACHT-associated domain을 포함합니다.
초기에 PYNOD로 확인되었으며, ASC, caspase-1, IL-1β와 결합하여 caspase-1의 자동 절단 및 IL-1β 처리, ASC 응집을 억제합니다.
따라서 NALP10은 세포사멸(apoptosis)과 염증(inflammation)의 강력한 조절 인자로 작용합니다.
