Product Specific Information
- Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration.
- For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below.
- Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.
- Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
- Stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid.
- Dilute only prior to immediate use.
- Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-goat serum, purified and partially purified N-Acyl Mannosamine-1-Dehydrogenase (E. coli recombinant).
- Cross-reactivity against N-Acyl Mannosamine-1-Dehydrogenase from other sources is unknown.
Target Information
N-acylmannosamine 1-dehydrogenase acts on acetyl-D-mannosamine and glycolyl-D-mannosamine. NAM-DH may be applicable to the quantitative determination of sialic acid in serum.
