For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

This gene encodes a uridine 5'-monophosphate synthase. The encoded protein is a bifunctional enzyme catalyzing the final two steps of the de novo pyrimidine biosynthetic pathway:

• The N-terminal enzyme orotate phosphoribosyltransferase converts orotic acid to orotidine-5'-monophosphate.
• The C-terminal enzyme OMP decarboxylase converts orotidine-5'-monophosphate to uridine monophosphate.

Defects in this gene cause hereditary orotic aciduria. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
