Target Information
NPPA 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 natriuretic peptide 계열에 속하며, 체액량 및 전해질 항상성 조절에 관여합니다. 이 단백질은 전구체 형태로 합성되어 신호 펩타이드를 포함하며, 처리 과정에서 심장 확장 작용을 가진 cardiodilatin 유사 펩타이드와 나트륨 배설 촉진 활성을 가진 펩타이드가 생성됩니다. NPPA 유전자 변이는 가족성 심방세동 6형과 관련이 있습니다.
