ROCK2는 골격근에서 주요 ROCK isoform으로서 Rho GTPase의 하위 조절자 역할을 합니다. 세포질분열, 평활근 수축, actin stress fiber 및 focal adhesion 형성, c-fos serum response element 활성화를 조절합니다. ROCK1의 isozyme으로서 Rho에 의해 조절되는 주요 표적 단백질입니다.
