Target Information
The Eph subfamily represents the largest group of receptor protein tyrosine kinases identified to date. These receptors are implicated in central nervous system function and development.
Human Eph receptors include EphA1–A8 and EphB1–B6 families.
Ligands for Eph receptors include ephrin-A4 (LERK-4), ephrin-A2 (Elf-1), ephrin-A3 (Ehk1-L), and ephrin-B2 (Htk-L), which interact with specific Eph receptors such as EphA3, EphA4, EphA5, and EphB4 respectively.
