Human SYT12 (Gene ID: 91683)
Synaptotagmin 12 (SYT12) is an isoform of synaptotagmin, homologous to synaptotagmin-1 and co-localized with it on synaptic vesicles.
Unlike other synaptotagmins, SYT12 does not bind Ca²⁺.
Synaptotagmins contain an N-terminal domain projecting into the intravesicular space, a transmembrane domain, a linker region, and two C2-domains.
