Anti-Zinc finger protein 566
The zinc finger proteins (ZNFs) are made up of anti-parallel hairpin motif. These proteins contain an α-helix, two β-strands and a hairpin structure. The ZNFs are mainly involved in recognition of DNA, folding and assembly of proteins, transcriptional activation, lipid binding, regulation of apoptosis, and packaging of RNA. The ZNF566 gene is mapped to human chromosome 19q13.12.
