Interleukin-36 gamma (IL36G), also known as IL-1F9, is a member of the interleukin (IL)-1-like proinflammatory cytokine family. It is encoded by the gene mapped to human chromosome 2q12-q21. IL36G is abundantly expressed in epithelial tissues and numerous myeloid-derived cell types.
